Quetta– Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, has said that corruption is the province’s biggest challenge, and without eliminating this menace, good governance and development goals cannot be achieved.

He expressed these views while addressing trainee officers during his visit to the National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA) Quetta.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister announced the construction of a hostel and auditorium dedicated to martyrs, saying the initiative would both honor their sacrifices and strengthen training facilities for officers.

Message to Officers

The CM urged officers to dedicate their skills to public service.

“True performance is serving the ordinary citizen who shivers in the cold and suffers in the heat.”

He stressed that officers must commit themselves to eliminating corruption and resolving public grievances. According to him, corruption is an even greater challenge than terrorism, and without eradicating it, national stability cannot be ensured.

The Chief Minister reiterated that the state comes first and vowed to resist all conspiracies. At the end of the ceremony, he distributed certificates among trainees and planted a commemorative sapling at NIPA Quetta.
