From Our Correspondent:

Train services were suspended in Balochistan after a deadly blast targeted a railway track near Dera Murad Jamali in Naseerabad district, officials confirmed on Tuesday. The explosion, caused by improvised explosives planted on the track, claimed the life of a railway employee, Imdad Hussain, who belonged to a poor family, leaving his dependents devastated.

According to security sources, the blast occurred near the Pat Feeder Bridge, causing partial damage to the railway line and disrupting the movement of several passenger and freight trains across the province. Rescue teams and security forces immediately reached the spot, cordoned off the area, and launched a comprehensive investigation into the incident.

Law enforcement agencies are collecting evidence and suspect the involvement of militant groups operating in the region. The tragedy has raised concerns over railway security in Balochistan and the growing threat of terror attacks targeting critical infrastructure.
