The Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BBISE) has promoted over 226, 000 students without any examination owing to the novel coronavirus in the province. Students in the 9th class have been promoted to 10th and students studying in 11th have been promoted to 12 class, a notification issued by the BBISE said on Wednesday.
However, the results of the students studying in 10th and 12th would be made as per marks obtained by them in 9th and 11th, the notification said. These students would be given 3 percent additional marks owing the to outbreak of COVID19.
The notification stated that the number of students studying in the class 9th and 10th was 128,000 and FA and FSc were 98,000 currently in Balochistan.
