Duki: Deputy Commissioner Duki Muhammad Naeem Khan and Assistant Commissioner Dr. Abdul Salam conducted a detailed visit to various development projects underway under the BSDI initiative. During the visit, they inspected ongoing drainage work in the main bazaar and reviewed construction and cleaning activities at Ganj Nallah.
The DC and AC engaged with engineers, project staff, and other concerned officials, inquiring about the pace and quality of the work. They issued strict instructions to ensure the use of high-quality materials, structural strength, cleanliness, and long-lasting drainage solutions so that the public can benefit in the long term.
DC Muhammad Naeem Khan said that BSDI projects are vital for Duki’s development, environmental cleanliness, and improvement in urban facilities. He added that once completed, these projects will significantly reduce rainwater accumulation issues and provide citizens with a cleaner and healthier environment through the enhancement of Ganj Nallah.
Assistant Commissioner Dr. Abdul Salam reiterated that the government is committed to completing public-interest projects efficiently without compromising quality. He directed officials to conduct daily monitoring and warned that negligence will not be tolerated.
Both officers described the ongoing development work as an important step toward the area’s progress, prosperity, and better basic facilities. Local residents also welcomed and appreciated the administration’s efforts.
