Quetta: Dar-ul-Falah Islamiya Quetta, in collaboration with BUITEMS Law City Campus, organized an event titled “Sweet Aid” for orphaned, underprivileged, and destitute children. The purpose of the event was to raise funds and to create awareness among students and the public about supporting vulnerable children.
Speaking at the ceremony, Principal Dar-ul-Falah Islamiya Sohail Ahmed said that the institution has been serving for nearly a century and currently accommodates 77 children from various districts of the province. He added that the institute is providing the best care, education, and health facilities to these children. He appealed to the public to come forward and play their role in ensuring a better life for orphaned and needy children.
UNICEF Program Coordinator Muzammil Ahmed Panezai stated that UNICEF is working on various projects to provide support for orphaned and underprivileged children in Balochistan. He stressed that the provincial government and other institutions should enhance their efforts in this regard.
Director BUITEMS Law Dr. Asif said that the purpose of the event was to instill a spirit of helping others among university students. He emphasized that it is everyone’s responsibility to look after those around them and support underprivileged children so they can become respectable members of society.
On this occasion, students set up various stalls to raise funds for orphaned and needy children, where participants purchased items and also contributed donations.
