News Desk: The men seen walking over burning embers in a viral social-media video have stepped forward, demanding justice and accountability after what they describe as coercion in the name of “proving innocence.”
Speaking at a press conference, they said eight people were compelled to walk on fire during a local dispute, while those truly responsible for the matter faced no consequences. They alleged that a First Information Report (FIR) was lodged against innocent individuals and that the real perpetrators were left out of the case.
Calling the episode an example of pressure and intimidation, the speakers urged authorities to remove the Station House Officer (SHO) concerned, accusing the police of mishandling the investigation.
Officials confirmed that the Balochistan Chief Minister has taken notice of the incident and directed a formal inquiry to determine what happened and who is responsible.
However, district authorities noted that the claims made during the press conference could not be immediately verified and said the matter remains under investigation.
