News Desk: Rain and hailstorm are likely in Quetta and various parts of Balochistan as a new weather system is expected to affect the province from Sunday to Wednesday, according to the Meteorological Department.

The Met Office said light rainfall is expected in Khuzdar, Chagai, Washuk, Surab, Noshki and Mastung, while Quetta, Panjgur, Loralai, Qila Saifullah, Qila Abdullah and Zhob may also receive light rain.

In some areas, including Khuzdar, Kalat and Kharan, rain may be accompanied by hailstorms. The department further warned that light snowfall is likely over mountainous regions of Chaman, Noshki, Qila Abdullah, Qila Saifullah and Ziarat.
