News Desk: A man, his wife, and a child were killed in what police have confirmed as an honour killing in Quetta on Monday.

According to police, the incident took place near Saddam Phatak in the Sariab Mill area, where Muhammad Yaqoob, his wife Sakina, and a child identified as Shayan were shot dead. Initial investigations indicate that the killings were carried out due to an alleged honour-related dispute.

After the incident, the suspects fled the scene. Police shifted the bodies to a hospital for medico-legal formalities and later handed them over to the heirs.

Police said further investigation is underway and efforts are being made to arrest those involved.
