News Desk: Provincial Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langove has directed authorities to ensure comprehensive and foolproof security arrangements for Eid-ul-Fitr, emphasizing that any negligence will not be tolerated.
The directives were issued during a high-level law and order meeting held in Quetta under his chairmanship, attended by senior security officials. Key participants included Inspector General of Prisons Saeed Ahmed, Additional IG Agha Yousuf, DIG Quetta, DIG CTD Aitazaz Goraya, and other relevant officers.
The meeting conducted a detailed review of security arrangements for Chand Raat and Eid-ul-Fitr. Additional Chief Secretary Home Hamza Shafqaat briefed participants on the overall security situation.
A special security plan was devised for Chand Raat, Eid congregations, mosques, and Imambargahs to ensure public safety during the festive period.
Addressing the meeting, Langove praised the security forces for their bravery and professionalism in countering terrorism, stating that recent incidents were effectively thwarted due to timely action by law enforcement agencies. He noted that the sacrifices of security personnel in the fight against terrorism are unforgettable.
He further said that institutions including the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps, and police are playing a vital role in maintaining peace and protecting citizens.
The Home Minister instructed all districts to strictly implement the approved security plan during Eid to ensure a peaceful and secure environment for the public.
