QUETTA: Inspector General of Police Balochistan, Muhammad Tahir, marked Eid-ul-Fitr by visiting Police Lines, where he paid tribute to fallen police personnel and appreciated the services of officers on duty.

Accompanied by senior officials, the IG laid floral wreaths at the martyrs’ memorial and offered prayers for their elevated ranks and for strength and patience for their families. He also met with families of the martyrs, who expressed satisfaction over the department’s continued support.

The IG later visited the homes of martyred officers, including DSP Mir Faisal, Inspector Zubair Ahmed, and Sub-Inspector Mitha Khan, where he conveyed condolences and acknowledged their sacrifices, calling them the pride of the nation.

He also visited CMH Hospital to inquire about injured police personnel and prayed for their swift recovery.

During his visits to Sariab, New Sariab, and Saddar police stations, the IG met officers and जवान, praised their performance, and encouraged them to continue their duties with dedication. He also interacted warmly with citizens, exchanged Eid greetings, and highlighted the strong relationship of trust between the police and the public.
