News Desk: Responding to remarks by Sardar Sohail Afridi, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti said he respects Afridi as a colleague and regards him like a brother, adding that criticism does not bother him and is part of public life.
Speaking to media outside the provincial assembly, the chief minister reiterated that he does not believe in unnecessary protocol, clarifying that his security presence is purely for safety. He described himself as a people-centric leader who prefers to stay among the public and is ready to make any sacrifice for Pakistan, while criticizing the culture of privileges enjoyed without service.
Bugti also highlighted ongoing austerity measures, stating that government vehicles are being strictly monitored through tracking systems to prevent misuse and ensure transparency.
Earlier, addressing the assembly, he reaffirmed his government’s resolve to curb terrorism and improve conditions in border areas through practical and targeted initiatives.
