Quetta: Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Friday lauded the unanimous congratulatory resolution adopted by the parliamentary forum of the Balochistan Assembly, acknowledging Pakistan’s effective, balanced, and diplomatic role in the context of the Iran United States ceasefire.
He said the resolution reflects the political wisdom, national unity, and responsible outlook of the House, describing it as a commendable expression of parliamentary maturity and collective national thinking.
The Chief Minister said Pakistan, as a peaceful and responsible state, has demonstrated prudent and thoughtful diplomacy on the international stage, which not only helped de-escalate tensions in the region but also strengthened the country’s positive global image.
He appreciated the Balochistan Assembly for acknowledging the leadership, diplomatic vision, and effective strategy at the national level, stating that timely and balanced guidance has earned Pakistan recognition as a responsible member of the international community.
He noted that during a period of heightened regional tensions, Pakistan’s conduct remained marked by wisdom, restraint, and a consistent commitment to peace, which will continue to reinforce its role in promoting global stability.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti termed the unanimous resolution a positive development that further strengthens national unity and confidence in federal institutions, expressing hope that Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts will continue to yield positive results.
He reiterated that the Balochistan government will continue working with the federation to advance the agenda of peace, stability, and development.
