Web Desk: Fear and uncertainty spread across several neighborhoods of Quetta after rockets were fired from an unidentified location, landing near Akhtar Mohammad Road, Shanti Nagar, and Fakir Mohammad Road late on Tuesday.

The sudden blasts alarmed residents, prompting many to rush out of their homes in confusion before quickly returning indoors as panic took hold. Witnesses described scenes of chaos and anxiety as people struggled to understand the situation.

Law enforcement authorities confirmed that no casualties or injuries were reported in the incident. Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Quetta Imran Shaukat stated that police and security personnel swiftly reached the affected sites, cordoned off the areas, and launched search operations.

“No loss of life has been reported, and efforts are underway to trace those involved,” he said, adding that investigations are ongoing.

The DIG urged citizens to remain vigilant and cooperate with authorities by reporting any suspicious activity. Security has been heightened across the city as officials continue their probe into the incident.
