According to an official notification issued by the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Quetta, the restrictive measures have been put in place by the administration specifically in view of the scheduled wrestling event and broader security protocols in the capital city.
The temporary ban applies with immediate effect to the following popular recreational and tourist sites located on the outskirts of Quetta:
Hanna Urak
Hanna Lake
Sra Khula
Karkhasa
Chiltan National Park
Shaban Valley
Security Beefed Up Across Tourist Hotspots
Administrative officials stated that the suspension of public entry is a precautionary step aimed at maintaining peace and ensuring foolproof security ahead of the high-profile wrestling match.
Law enforcement agencies have been directed to strictly implement the DC’s directives. Additional security personnel and checkpoints have been established on the routes leading to these recreational spots to monitor movement and prevent public gatherings.
Citizens, families, and tourists planning weekend excursions or routine visits to these areas are advised to suspend their travel plans and cooperate with the local administration until the security clearance is given and the restrictions are formally lifted.
