Education Desk: The Government of Balochistan has opened recruitment for 142 Elementary School Teacher (EST) positions (BPS-17) across multiple subjects, offering significant employment opportunities for qualified graduates seeking teaching jobs in Gwadar only.

According to an official advertisement issued by the Elementary Education Department, applications are being sought from eligible candidates for teaching positions in English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and General Science. The recruitment process will be conducted under the provincial government’s approved recruitment policy for 2026.

The largest number of vacancies has been announced for English Teachers (73 posts), followed by Mathematics Teachers (29 posts), Biology Teachers (28 posts), General Science Teachers (8 posts), and Chemistry Teachers (4 posts).

Candidates applying for the posts must possess a four-year BS degree or a Master’s degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university. The Education Department stated that the recruitment drive aims to strengthen the quality of education, improve science and language instruction, and address teacher shortages in schools.

Interested applicants have been advised to carefully review the eligibility criteria and submit their applications within the prescribed timeframe mentioned in the official advertisement.
