QUETTA: A woman in Quetta has safely given birth to quintuplets at a local hospital, with both the mother and all five newborns reported to be in good health, hospital officials confirmed.

According to the hospital administration, the woman delivered five babies at the same time, including three girls and two boys. Medical staff said the delivery was successfully managed, and both the mother and the newborns are in stable condition.

The hospital stated that the mother and the babies have been shifted to a specialized care unit, where they are receiving close medical monitoring and postnatal care.

The Quetta-based couple already had three children before the birth. With the arrival of the quintuplets, their family has now grown to eight children.

Hospital officials described the birth as a rare and joyful occasion, adding that the medical team will continue to monitor the health of the mother and the newborns to ensure their well-being.
