Balochistan: Security Forces Kill 3 More Terrorists in Zhob, Recover Weapons – ISPR

BOLAN: A Balochistan Police constable was martyred after unknown armed attackers targeted the Dosa Cross Police Checkpost on the Balanari National Highway in Bolan district late Friday night.

According to police sources, unidentified gunmen launched a sudden attack on the police checkpoint, opening indiscriminate fire on officers deployed at the post.

During the assault, Police Constable Hafiz Abdul Rasheed Abro, who was performing his official duties, sustained critical gunshot injuries and embraced martyrdom on the spot.

Following the terror attack, security forces and police personnel cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to trace and apprehend the attackers. Authorities have initiated an investigation to determine the motive behind the attack.

The incident has once again highlighted the persistent security challenges in Balochistan, where law enforcement agencies continue to face attacks from militant and armed groups.
