QUETTA: The inquiry commission probing the Ziarat Mangi Dam attack held its proceedings in an open court under the supervision of Justice Muhammad Aamir Nawaz Rana.

During the hearing, the commission recorded statements from several witnesses as part of the ongoing investigation into the incident.

The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) presented its report on the action taken so far. The agency informed the commission that accounts allegedly involved in spreading fake news had been blocked.

The NCCIA further told the commission that action against the spread of fake and misleading information was continuing.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) also submitted its responses to the inquiry commission regarding the matter.

The commission reviewed the reports and responses submitted by the relevant institutions and recorded statements of multiple witnesses.

After completing the proceedings, the inquiry commission adjourned further proceedings until the next hearing.
