Former President Asif Ali Zardari shifted to a hospital in Karachi after “he felt unwell”, the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) statement said on Sunday night. Doctors are conducting check-ups of the former president, the party said. The party however mentioned that the former president’s health condition continues to improve.
Islamabad High Court (IHC) had granted bail to the PPP leader in a corruption case. The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had filed a reference against Mr. Zardari in a corruption case. The Counsel for the former president Farooq H.Naik had argued that the former president was a chronic patient.
Zardari also “suffers from various other ailments such as cervical and lumbar spondylosis, sensory and motor neuropathy with impaired proprioception”, Naek said.
