Govt plans residential facilities for officers at district level: CM Balochistan

The Balochistan government has planned to provide residential facilities to officers at the district and divisional levels. Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan directed the concerned quarters to prepare plans for the establishment of government officers residences at district and divisional levels.
The Chief Minister chaired an important meeting that reviewed projects relating to colleges, polytechnics, Balochistan residential colleges on Tuesday. Chief Secretary Balochistan, Captain (R) Fazeel Asghar, Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Saboor Kakar, Secretary Buildings, Ghulam Ali Baloch, and other high ups attended the meeting.

The meeting observed that most of the government officers were trying to perform their duties in Quetta instead of peripheries due to a lack of residential facilities. The residential facilities would ensure the presence of officers at the district level to address the issues of the masses, he said. “Master plan coupled with latest designing should be part of new schemes”, Jam Kamal told the meeting. He said all aspects of development works should be reviewed so that people could be benefited.
The CM directed the departments concerned to ensure the installation of CCTV and fire-fighting. The residential colonies should be provided all basic facilities, he said.
