Students protest against Balochistan University administration

QUETTA: Students staged a protest demonstration against the administration of the Balochistan University on Monday. The protesting students claimed that the administration has failed to issue roll number slips to candidates appearing in the MA/MSc examinations.

The examinations will start tomorrow at the University of Balochistan. The protesting students blocked the main Sariab road that caused the suspension of traffic. The students changed full-throated slogans against the university administration and demanded immediate issuance of roll number of slips. People faced difficulties as a result of the blockade of road by students.

Protesters ended the protest after assurance 

The protesters lamented that despite repeated appeals and requests, the Balochistan university has failed to address their issue. Later on, the protesters ended their protest after assurance by the administration for addressing their issue. Police also reached the spot to maintain the law and order situation during the protest.
