Coach turns turtle killed 8 near Lasbella Balochistan

A passenger coach turned turtle and killed 8 people including 2 Levies men in Balochistan’s Lasbella district on Wednesday morning. 20 passengers injured in the deadly accident that happened at Nami Levies check post.

Levies sources said the passenger coach turned turtle because of over-speeding and killed 8 people. The bus initially turned turtle over a levies check post killing 2 levies men on the spot.

Levies sources said the bus was coming from Balochistan’s Panjgoor district towards Karachi when the incident happened. The rescue workers from the medical emergency response were quick at the scene and shifted the injured to a hospital for medical treatment.

The bus completely destroyed during the incident. A child, a woman also among the dead.

CM Balochistan expresses grief and sorrows over the incidentĀ 

In a statement issued after the incident, Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan also expressed grief and sorrows over the sad demise of passengers and levies men. He prayed that may Allah Almighty bless the departed souls and give patience to the broken families.

The Chief Minister also directed for providing better health facilities to the injured of the traffic accident.

Accidents claiming precious human livesĀ 

Traffic accidents have almost become the order of the day on the Quetta-Karachi highway. The highway named as ‘killer highway’. Recently, the Balochistan government decided to install a trackers system in passenger buses to check over-speeding and careless driving. The government has decided to install the trackers 316 passenger coaches on the Quetta-Karachi highway.

Traffic accidents in Balochistan in general and the Quetta-Karachi highway have claimed thousands of precious human lives. The province that covers half of the country in terms of the area has not a single kilometer motorway.
