QUETTA: The Balochistan Public Service Commission (BPSC) has declared Samiullah Mengal as successful candidate in written test of Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) in police department. The BPSC had conducted test for the post of ASI few months back and Sami had appeared in the test. “This success again reminds me of my beloved son and refreshes my memories”, the mother of Samiullah Mengal said. Today is again like his martyrdom day, the aged mother suffering from dumb agony said.

In BPSC’s result, Samiullah Mengal had qualified the written test for the post of ASI in police department. A group of drug peddlers had martyred Samiullah Mengal a month ago in Balochistan’s Noshki district.

Sami was also a student of university of Balochistan in Zoology department. Spokesman government of Balochistan, Liaqat Shahwani said two accused were arrested by police in connection with the murder of young man.

Locals say that Sami had pinpointed the names drug peddlers selling drugs in Noshki before the commissioner Rakhshan division. After lodging complaint, the drug peddlers targeted Samiullah Mengal, locals said.

In Noshki, tribesmen and members of civil society had staged protest demonstration outside police station to press police for arresting the culprits involved in the murder of Samiullah Mengal.
