Ahmed Mujtaba arrives in Quetta after defeating Indian opponent

Ahmed Mujtaba arrived in Quetta on Wednesday morning after defeating Indian opponent Raju in Martial Arts. Within 57 seconds, Ahmed Mujtaba of Quetta had knocked out Indian opponent Raju on February 5 Kashmir solidarity day.

“I dedicated my success to oppressed Kashmiris”, Mr. Mujtaba told reporters at Quetta international airport. Mujtaba was warmly welcomed at the airport.

A warm welcome at Quetta airport 

Bushra Rind, the parliamentary secretary for information, Danesh Kumar, a minority MPA, Liaquat Shahwani, spokesman government of Balochistan, Mir Imran Gichki, secretary of sports Balochistan and a large number of people received him at the airport.

Ahmed calls on CM Balochistan

Ahmed Mujtaba called on chief minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan after his arrival. Speaking on the occasion, the CM termed the success of Ahmed Mujtaba as a good omen for country and nation. “This is a matter of immense pleasure that Ahmed belongs to Quetta”, Jam Kamal said.

In his exclusive talks with Quetta Voice, Ahmed Mujtaba said he plans to establish a martial arts academy in Quetta to promote sports activities. “Victory against traditional rival was a matter of pleasure”, Ahmed stated.

“No dearth of talent in Balochistan”, Ahmed Mujtaba said. He demanded of the government to encourage sportsmen of Balochistan to play on national and international levels.

“Our players can prove their talent on international talent”, he said. If provided opportunity, players from Balochistan can play a pivotal role, he added. A large number of local sportsmen were also present at the airport.

Liaquat Shahwani, the Spokesman government of Balochistan termed the victory of Ahmed Mujtaba as an encouraging event. “Ahmed’s success against our traditional rival was the happiest movement”, Mr. Shahwani said.
