Quetta: Hand grenade attack leaves 2 injured on Golimar chowk

A hand grenade attack at Quetta’s Golimar chowk has left 2 people injured on Tuesday night. Police sources said miscreants lobbed a hand grenade at a barbershop on Golimar chowk.

The attack left 2 people injured, police said. Rescue workers shifted the injured people to the hospital for medical treatment. The injured of the blast identified as Rehmatullah and Farhan.

Police and frontier corps personnel reached the spot as investigation into the incident went underway. The attackers escaped unhurt from the spot. The blast also smashed the glasses of the barbershop.

Home Minister condemns the attackĀ 

Home Minister Balochistan, Mir Ziaullah Langove has strongly condemned the terrorist attack. In a statement, the minister asked the police to submit a report in this regard within 24 hours.

Mr. Langove said the perpetrators of the attack would be brought to justice.

This attack has come four days after a soldier martyred and another injured in Quetta’s Western Bypass area. Security tightened in and around Quetta in the aftermath of recent attacks.
