Abdul Qadir Ghafoor Hyderi Ronjho elected senators as ruling alliance got 8 PDM 4 seats

The ruling coalition secured all its votes and got 8 seats in the election for the upper house in Balochistan. The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) got 4 seats.
General Seats
The Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) candidates on general seats including Sarfaraz Bugti, Abdul Qadir, an independent candidate, Manzoor Kakar, Prince Omar Ahmedzai and Omar Farooq of ANP declared successful.
However, Maulana Ghafoor Hyderi of JUI F and Qasim Ronjho advocate of BNP Mengal declared winners on general seats.
Technocrats
Saeed Hashmi, the patron in chief of BAP, and Kamran Murtaza advocate of PDM declared winners.
Women
Naseema Ehsan Shah of BNP Mengal and Samina Mumtaz declared successful.
Minority
Earlier: Voting counting begins as all 65 members of the Balochistan Assembly cast their votes for the election of senators. The province will elect 12 senators including 7 general, 2 women, 2 technocrats, and 1 minority.
After a tough political battle, the vote-counting is underway in the Balochistan Assembly by the election commission of Pakistan. The ECP had declared the assembly hall as the polling station on the eve of polls for the upper house.
Vote counting underway amid tight security
Amid tight security, the polling staff is counting votes. Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan, former chief ministers Sardar Akhtar Mengal, Nawab Muhammad Aslam Raisani, Jan Muhammad Jamali, Nawab Sanaullah Zehri, Sardar Saleh Bhootani, and Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo also cast their votes.
