CTD kills 5 miscreants in Mastung Balochistan

The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) killed 5 miscreants during an exchange of fire in Balochistan’s Mastung district. The CTD conducted a raid on an intelligence-based operation in the Splenji area of Mastung on late Sunday night, the CTD spokesman said.
The dead miscreants belonged to the outlawed Baloch Liberation Army (BLA). The miscreants were hiding in a house and planning a major terror activity in Quetta and other parts of Balochistan, he mentioned.
CTD personnel cordoned off the house
The CTD personnel cordoned off the house and asked the miscreants to surrender. However, they refused to do so. Refusal followed by an intense exchange of fire, the Spokesman informed.
As a result of the firing, 5 terrorists killed, and a huge catch of arms and ammunition recovered from their possession. The dead terrorists were involved in a series of terrorist activities. They had lobbed a hand grenade at laborers on Samungli road, attacks on security forces in Quetta.
CTD Spokesman said some terrorists managed to escape from the spot during an exchange of fire. Search is underway for the arrest of remaining terrorists, he said.
