China establishing a 150-bed hospital in Gwadar: Chinese Ambassador

Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, Mr. Nong Zong on Wednesday said China was establishing a 150-bed hospital in the port city of Gwadar. The Chinese Ambassador called on Governor Balochistan, Justice (R) Amanullah Khan Yaseenzai, and Chief Minister, Jam Kamal Khan.

“Health issue of people of Gwadar would be addressed after the establishment of the hospital”, Mr. Nong Zong said. The establishment of the hospital was a long-standing demand of the people of Gwadar.

Chinese companies should invest in Balochistan: Jam Kamal 

Jam Kamal on the occasion underlined the need for the establishment of a Chinese learning center and vocational training in Gwadar. He said the Chinese companies should invest in Balochistan and the government would provide a conducive atmosphere for the investors.

The Chinese Ambassador also announced the provision of food items to 1700 families in Balochistan.

Pakistan and China are time-tested friends

Speaking to the Chinese ambassador, Governor Balochistan, Justice (R) Amanullah Yaseenzai stated that the provision of food items by the Chinese government in the holy month of Ramazan was an example of a close friendship between the two countries.

The Ambassador and the Governor distributed food items among the deserving families at the Governor’s house. “China has always stood by Pakistan in hard times”, Governor Yaseenzai said.

China to provide food items to 1700 families 

The Chinese Ambassador assured to provide food items to 1700 families in six districts of Balochistan at the request of Governor Balochistan.

In all districts, the government would take all elected members on board while distributing food items among the needy and deserving people. Officials of the Chinese embassy and Balochistan government were also present on the occasion of food items distribution at the Governor’s house.
