Renowned educationist of Balochistan professor Jamsheed passes away

Renowned educationist of Balochistan professor Jamsheed breathed his last on Saturday. Professor Jamsheed was suffering from a protracted illness. “Professor Jamsheed was an institution”, Shakeel Anwar, a former student remarked.
He was the founder of the Pakistan English Coaching Center (PECC) that produced thousands of talented and dynamic students in Balochistan. “I don’t have words to explain how good he was to me”, Mr. Anwar stated.
Professor Jamsheed had served as the Principal of Degree College Quetta
Professor Jamsheed had also served as the principal of government degree college Quetta. The news of the demise of the well-known educationist widely shared on social media networks by his students and former colleagues.
“Professor Jamsheed promoted education in Balochistan despite difficulties”, Tayyab Lehri, a former student and serving provincial secretary remarked.
“He rendered great services to promote education in Balochistan”, Abdullah Khan, another former student said as his voice cracks over the demise of the late Professor. Khan is currently serving as the Secretary Planning and Development Department Balochistan.
PECC produced thousands of talented students
The professor’s institution i.e. PECC produced thousands of dynamic and talented students currently serving on important official and political positions. “He was the pioneer of introducing the English language in Quetta city”, Malik Latif Kakar, another former student said. Mr. Kakar is currently working as an additional prosecutor general in the Balochistan High Court (BHC).
The professor was famous for supporting students from poor and marginalized families. Out of way, he used to support students. Professor Jamsheed had spent his whole life in Quetta and Balochistan to promote the cause of education, Mr. Lehri said.
Balochistan is lagging behind other provinces in terms of key social indicators. Education is one of them. Prior to the establishment of the PECC, speaking and reading English appeared to be a dream of students. However, Professor Jamsheed’s institution enabled thousands of youngsters to speak in accurate and fluent English.
