Health officials have confirmed the death of two Pakistani men by COVID-19. Both the victims belong to KhyberPukhtoonkhwa province. One of them who had returned from Umrah died in KhyberPukhtoonkhwa’s Mardan district. This was confirmed by adviser to the PrimeĀ  Minister on health, Dr. Zafar Mirza on Wednesday night. The deceased was 50 years old and developed fever and coughing after his arrival from Umrah. Both the victims had travel history abroad.

Seven fresh cases of novel corona virus have been confirmed in Balochistan on Wednesday. With confirmation of seven new cases of virus, the number of cases in the province rises to 23.

Chief Secretary Balochistan, captain (R) Fazeel Asghar confirmed seven fresh cases, giving no other details to the press. The CS chaired a high level meeting with regard to arrangements regarding the novel corona virus and directed the concerned quarters to expedite efforts to contain the COVID-19 in the province.

With fresh cases in Balochistan, the number of novel corona virus cases rise to 301 across the country. Most the cases have been confirmed by Sindh province. Sindh province has confirmed 208 cases, Punjab 33, KP 19 and AJK have confirmed 16 cases in the country.
