DALBANDIN: Video of assistant commissioner Dalbandin, Ayesha Zehri accusing the Deputy Commissioner Chaghi of directing levies thana not to take smuggled chemicals and goods into its possession went viral on social media. “We were very happy that we seized  smuggled  things of such a huge quantity”, Ayesha Zehri said in  a video that went viral on social media. Now levies men in thana told us that the deputy commissioner has directed them not to take these things into their custody, she laments. However, the deputy commissioner, Fateh Khan Khajjak rejected her allegations and said he had nothing to do with this case.

The video also prompted the concerned  quarters and inquiry was also ordered to probe into her allegations.

Chaghi and other bordering districts with Iran are considered to be major narcotics smuggling routes internationally. Smugglers use dozens of unfrequented routes at the porous Afghan border to sneak into Pakistan and then they enter into Iran on their way to European countries.
