QUETTA: The government of Balochistan has canceled all leave of civil servants in the wake of recent emergency regarding the novel corona virus. According to a notification issued by the services and general administration department, the government has canceled all leave of civil servants to cope with any emergency situation.

The Balochistan health department had already canceled all leave, training and deputations of all employees in view of reports of corona virus in the country. The education department has also announced closure of all educational institutions till March 15. The schools in winter zone were expected to be opened on March 1st.

In Pakistan, the authorities have confirmed two cases of novel corona virus. The patients belong to Sindh and federal capital. However, federal minister Dr. Zafar Mirza said 15 patients related to the deadly virus were being investigated.
