QUETTA: The Baloch Culture Day was observed in Quetta and other parts of Balochistan by various political parties, civil society and students organizations. Speakers at seminars and public gatherings underlined the need for promotion of Baloch culture, norms and values in the society. Politicians, provincial ministers, legislators, civil society, human rights activists and people belonging to all walks of life participated in cultural shows.

The youngsters in Balochistan University where  a mega event was organized by Baloch Students Organization presented traditional Balochi dance to mark the day. A large number of people belonging to various walks of life participated in the function. The students also danced on traditional Balochi music to mark the day.

The participants of the cultural show were wearing white thick Balochi turbans to mark the day and create awareness among the people. Cultural shows were held in Quetta, Sibi, Noshki, Turbat, Khuzdar and various parts  of Balochistan to mark the day.

Women and children also participated in Baloch Culture day programs. Women and children were also wearing traditional Balochi dress. Balochi songs were played during the cultural shows. Audience took keen interests in traditional music and shows.

Apart from this, youngsters could also be seen on roads and streets of Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan to observe the Baloch culture day.
