The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the novel corona virus as pandemic as death toll rises to 4200 globally. WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said during a press briefing today that the agency is “deeply concerned both by the alarming levels of spread and severity, and by the alarming levels of inaction” when he said the novel coronavirus outbreak is a pandemic.

“We cannot say this loudly enough, clearly enough and oftenly enough”, he however said that the countries can still change the course of the pandemic.

The virus has globally affected 115000 people globally with most of the cases from mainland China. South Korea, Italy and Iran have been worst hit by the novel corona virus.
