Another doctor was tested positive for the novel coronavirus in Quetta on Tuesday. The infected doctor was serving in civil hospital Quetta when he contracted the deadly virus. A senior officer of the health department told Quetta Voice the infected doctor has been quarantined and being treated.

Earlier, four doctors in Quetta were infected with COVID-19. The four doctors were quarantined at Sheikh Zayed Hospital Quetta.

Doctors in Balochistan continue to protest regarding the lack of protective equipment for doctors in hospitals. The young doctors association and Pakistan medical association have demanded of the Balochistan government to provide them protective equipment to protect them from the deadly virus.
