In Balochistan, six new cases of novel coronavirus were confirmed on Wednesday. With fresh new six cases, the number of patients rises to 164 in the province.

The number of total suspected patients was recorded 2113 and 1910 were declared negative by the health officials, Dr. Naeem Zarkoon the head of media cell directorate of health Balochistan said in a statement.

The provincial government has declared an emergency to cope with the situation developed in the aftermath of the novel coronavirus. The government has put all health professionals on high alert to cope with the situation and contain the deadly virus penetrating globally.

The Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan on Wednesday chaired a high-level meeting, which made a number of important decisions to contain the coronavirus in the province.
