Pakistan has decided to temporarily open its border with Afghanistan on a humanitarian basis at the request of the Afghan government for the return of its nationals. The Foreign Ministry in a statement said the border would be temporarily opened from April 6 to 9 for three days to allow Afghans in Pakistan to enter into their country.

The Torkham and Chaman border crossings will be opened for a specific period from April 6 to April 9 to facilitate the Afghan nationals’ exit, the statement added.
