CHAGHI: The Commissioner Rakhshan Division, Ayaz Mandokhail on Tuesday requested the Chief Secretary of Balochistan to cancel the transfer order of assistant commissioner Dalbandin, Ayesha Zehri in the public interest. The government of Balochistan services and the general administration department through a notification had transferred Ayesha Zehri from Dalbandin and posted Muhammad Javed as the AC on Monday.
“She has never failed to perform any official task assigned by seniors”, the commissioner mentioned in a summary addressed to the CS. Ayesha Zehri stayed at Taftan for nine days to perform her duties in view of the fact that it was not her sub-division, he said.
Since her posting, there is a group that works against her, she was harassed so many times but she bravely refused to succumb to threats, Ayaz Mandokhail, the commissioner explains in the summary. The outgoing AC has also refused to distribute ration/foodstuff on a political basis in the aftermath of lockdown and outbreak of novel coronavirus in the country.
Ayesha Zehri’s name came in the limelight a month ago, when her video went viral on social media. In the video, she accused some officers of the district administration for not cooperating rather creating obstacles in her way during the fight against smugglers and drug peddlers.
