The British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson has been discharged from hospital after a week. The British prime minister was tested positive for the novel coronavirus and was taken to the intensive care unit after his condition deteriorated in London, a Downing Street spokesman said Sunday.
Johnson was admitted to hospital last Sunday and was moved to intensive care on Monday. He spent three days in the ICU and received “standard oxygen treatment,” according to his spokesman, but did not require mechanical or invasive ventilation.
