QUETTA: The Balochistan government on Tuesday evening confirmed 9 fresh cases of novel coronavirus in the province. With the confirmation of 9 fresh cases, the tally rises to 248, the corona cell established at health directorate said.
So far, screening of 12339 people have been completed and the result of over 3800 patients was found negative. The number of suspected patients is 4298, the corona cell mentioned in a daily situation report released to the press.
In Balochistan, up till now, 137 patients have recovered from the novel coronavirus. When contacted by this scribe, the Spokesman government of Balochistan, Liaquat Shahwani said that so far over 4000 tests of suspected patients were conducted in the province. Average, we have conducted 180 tests, Mr. Shahwani said.
The Balochistan government has expedited efforts to battle the novel coronavirus in the province. The government has approved various incentives and increments for health professionals battling the coronavirus in hospitals of Balochistan.
