The novel coronavirus has claimed over 2,04,000 lives globally. The virus has infected more than 2.9 million people across the globe. As per the statistics of Johns Hopkins University, over 52,000 people have been killed by the virus in the United States of America.

There are at least 890,524 cases of coronavirus in the United States, including at least 52,000 deaths, according to the latest tally from Johns Hopkins University (JHU).

As states begin to include “probable deaths” in their counts, so will JHU. In the upcoming days, these changes may show as surges in the number of deaths in the country.

JHU had 21,579 new reported cases and 1,130 more deaths in the US.

The totals include cases from all 50 states, the District of Columbia and other US territories, as well as repatriated cases and those in the US military, veterans hospitals and federal prisons.
