The Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI) has made an important decision and appointed Senator Shibli Faraz as the information minister on Monday evening. This was announced by PTI leader Fawad Chaudhary. Firdous Ashiq Awan has been removed as a special assistant to the Prime Minister on the information.
The Prime Minister has however appointed Lt (R) Asim Saleem Bajwa as a special assistant to the PM on the information. Asim Saleem Bajwa remained as the director-general Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) and commander Southern Command in Balochistan.
