World-fame cricketer, Shahid Khan Afridi has spent three days in Balochistan to distribute foodstuff among needy and deserving people in the aftermath of the outbreak of coronavirus. The COVID19 has made a large number of people jobless with families facing a severe shortage of food and other basic facilities in Balochistan.

“This is my responsibility to come and support people in this hour of trial”, Mr. Afridi told a gathering in Balochistan’s Mastung. He distributed ration among the poor, needy and deserving people in Mastung, Khuzdar, and Pishin.

“Ratio of poverty is high here, rulers had better-done something for people”, Shahid Afridi said while referring to backwardness, sense of deprivation in Balochistan.

Speaking to a gathering in the Pashto language in Pishin, Mr. Afridi said people of Balochistan were close to his heart and that his foundation was determined to support the people in these difficult times. For the last six years, my foundation has been providing water, health, education, and other facilities to the masses of the country, Mr. Afridi said.

Deputy Commissioner Pishin, Qaim Lashari, tribal elders, and a large number of needy and deserving people were also present on the occasion. People of the area praised the Shahid Afridi Foundation for extending support to the needy and deserving families of Pishin.
