QUETTA: The Balochistan health department on Tuesday confirmed 174 cases of the novel coronavirus. This is the highest number of cases reported by the provincial government in one day since the outbreak of novel coronavirus. A total of 863 tests were conducted by the laboratory administration on Tuesday, the Corona Cell stated in a daily situation report obtained by the daily Quetta Voice.
With the confirmation of the new cases, the tally of the Covid-19 cases has reached 1,495 across the province. The province has so far confirmed 21 deaths caused the Covid-19 as per statistics shared by the Corona Cell government of Balochistan. The province has conducted over 1,1000 tests since the outbreak of the pandemic, Waseem Baig, the Spokesman Corona Cell told daily Quetta Voice.
