Cases of the novel coronavirus have reached 23,655 across the country on Wednesday. As per statistics by provincial and federal governments, the virus continues to increase in almost all parts of the country.

So far, 6,217 patients have recovered across the country. However, the virus has caused 544 deaths up till now. Most of the cases have been reported from Punjab and Sindh provinces of the country.

Punjab has confirmed 8,693 cases, Sindh, 8,640 Balochistan 1,663, KP, 3,712 Islamabad, 485, GB 372 and AJK 71.

The federal and provincial governments have imposed lockdown across the country to contain the novel coronavirus.

NA Session: 

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi announced that a session of National Assembly will be held on Monday at 3 pm.

“Today parliamentary leaders met in a session chaired by Fakhar Imam. We decided that we will not identify quorum for Monday’s session,” Qureshi added.

The foreign minister said that the National Assembly session will continue after a pause of one day and that visitors from outside will not be allowed during the sessions.
