The novel coronavirus cases have reached 28,551 across the country on Saturday evening. The deadly virus has caused 636 deaths in the country so far. However, 7,800 people have recovered from the disease hitherto.

As per statistics shared by all four provinces and the federal capital, most of the cases have been confirmed in Punjab and Sindh provinces. Thus, cases also continue to increase in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan every day.

Punjab has confirmed 10,471, Sindh 10771, Khyber Pukhtunkhwa 4,327, Balochistan 1,935, Islamabad, 558, GB 394, AJK 78.

President visits National Assembly:  

President Arif Alvi visited the National Assembly ahead of Monday’s session. He inspected arrangements for the session and directed that social distancing guideline issued by the World Health Organisation be followed.

All  PPP parliamentarian to be tested for Covid-19: 

PPP Senator Sherry Rehman has said that the party has made it mandatory for all its senators and members of the National Assembly (MNAs) to get tested for the coronavirus before leaving for the Parliament’s session on Monday.
