The novel coronavirus has infected 32,979 lives across the country on Wednesday evening. As per the statistics shared by health departments of provinces and the federal capital, the virus has claimed 733 lives hitherto.
However, the number of patients recovering from the deadly virus has also reached 9,000 in the country. Though, most of the recoveries in the country are yet to be reported and registered by health departments since people continue to recover during isolation at their homes.
Most of the cases have been confirmed in Punjab and Sindh provinces of the country. Moreover, cases appear to be on a constant rise in Balochistan as well.
Punjab has confirmed 11,868 cases, Sindh 12,610, Khyber Pukhtunkhwa 5,021, Islamabad 759, GB 475, and AJK 88.
