QUETTA: Speaker Balochistan Assembly, Qudoos Bizenjo has convened the session May 20th on the requisition of opposition benches. Opposition political parties in Balochistan Assembly had submitted a requisition for convening the session to discuss post-coronavirus situation and steps taken by the government.
The session would be held at 12 pm in the afternoon only for a duration of three hours, a notification issued by the assembly secretariat said. Except for official TV, the entry of all private tv channels and media have been banned from entering into the assembly hall.
The members have been directed to adopt social distancing and use sanitizer prior to entry into the house, the notification said. The staff of members of the provincial assembly have also been barred from the entry, the notification concluded.
It may be mentioned here that the speaker Qudoos Bizenjo had twice regretted to requisite the session in view of the outbreak of novel coronavirus in the province.
