The Corona Cell Balochistan has confirmed 128 new cases of the novel coronavirus on Monday as the tally reached 2,820 in the province. In a daily situation report released to the press on Monday night, the Corona Cell said that a total of 417 tests was conducted and out of them 128 were declared positive by the laboratory.
The deadly virus has caused 38 deaths so far. However, the health department has so far conducted 18,438 tests in the province. The virus continues to spread fast and now it has affected 22 districts of Balochistan, Waseem Baig, the Spokesman Corona Cell told the daily Quetta Voice.
Up til now, 524 patients of the novel coronavirus have recovered in the province since the outbreak of the pandemic.
