Former Chief Justice Balochistan High Court (BHC), Justice (R) Ghulam Mustafa Mengal died in Quetta after a protracted illness on Monday. “The BHC regrets to announce the sudden demise of former honorable CJ BHC, Ghulam Mustafa Mengal”, a press release issued by the BHC media wing said.

Late Justice (R) Mengal was admitted to a hospital in Quetta after his condition deteriorated the other day. He was born on December 25, 1952, and elevated as an additional judge of the BHC on 7/9/2009. Ghulam Mustafa Mengal took oath as CJ BHC on April 5, 2014.

Chief Justice, BHC, Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhail, judges of the high court, session courts have expressed grief and sorrows over his demise and prayed that may Allah Almighty bless on the departed soul.
